Wholesale price changes when the quoted specification, packaging route, order basis, delivery responsibility or evidence scope changes. Compare those inputs on one sheet before treating a lower unit figure as better value.
Separate the quote into five cost drivers
Record product form and exact SKU first. Then separate retail pack, labels or artwork, order quantity, delivery term and any model-specific document work. A quote that leaves one of these inside a vague “set price” is not ready for like-for-like comparison.
| Driver | Fields to normalize | Question for the buyer |
|---|---|---|
| Product | SKU, form, stated count, components, version | Are both quotes for the same model? |
| Packaging | Retail box or tin, artwork, manual, bag, labels | What is included and approved? |
| Order basis | Units, carton basis, MOQ, mixed-SKU rules | Does the quantity match the selling plan? |
| Delivery | EXW, FOB, DDP or other agreed term | Who owns freight, clearance and destination charges? |
| Evidence | Sample, report scope, market and version | What must be confirmed before release? |
Two exact SKU examples for the quote sheet
Use these separately as model examples. Their catalog titles and images are verified, but their carton quantity, current packaging, exact component inventory and model-specific documents must be confirmed. A quote for one is not a like-for-like price comparison with the other.

View productDo not hide packaging and setup work
Custom packaging, instructions, storage bags and artwork review can change the commercial record even when the toy itself is unchanged. Keep one-time artwork or sample work separate from recurring unit goods, and record whether each item is included, excluded or pending confirmation.
Use the order quantity as a scenario, not a promise
MagBlockPro’s normal MOQ is one carton, while exact carton quantity and model availability remain SKU-level fields. Compare quotes at the same sellable-unit quantity and mark any mixed-carton or custom minimum as a question to confirm. Do not convert an unconfirmed MOQ into a price claim.
Normalize delivery responsibility
Use the same delivery term and destination assumptions when comparing totals. EXW, FOB and DDP move responsibility for freight, clearance and destination costs between parties. Keep international transport separate from the confirmed regular preparation window of 3–7 days after order confirmation.
Copy-paste quote comparison sheet
- Exact SKU, product form and stated contents.
- Quantity basis, MOQ and any mixed-SKU condition.
- Retail packaging, artwork, manual and storage inclusions.
- Currency, delivery term, freight and destination exclusions.
- Sample, document scope, validity and change-control fields.
Choose the quote with the clearest matched scope and lowest unresolved commercial risk, then request confirmation for every open field before payment.
FAQ
Is a lower unit price always a better quote?
No. It may exclude packaging, freight, evidence work or a comparable order quantity. Normalize the scope first.
Can I compare two quotes with different SKUs?
Only as separate assortment options. Do not call the lower figure a saving when the products differ.
